What counts as a unit?
Every unit you add to a building — a flat, shop or office — counts as one. Buildings themselves are never charged, so add as many as you like.
How does the graduated price work?
The first 8 units are covered by the €10 minimum. Each band only prices the units inside it, like tax brackets, so your bill never drops suddenly when you cross into the next band.
Is VAT included?
Prices exclude VAT, which is added at checkout based on your country.
Do I need a card for the free trial?
Yes, the 30-day trial starts with a card. Cancel any time before it ends and you won't be charged.
Is there a discount for yearly billing?
Yes. Yearly billing charges 10 months and gives you 12 — two months free.
Do owners pay to use the portal?
No. Owners and tenants use their portal for free. The management company or committee holds the subscription, and can pass it through in the building's budget.
Do you take a cut of owner payments?
Communfy takes no commission on payments. Card payments go through your own Stripe account at Stripe's standard fees.
